The POS isn't a separate program; it's a feature built into the Alostaz accounting system. Once you subscribe to any plan, you can use the accounting software and the POS on the same subscription, so it's just one subscription. And every sale from the cashier shows up right away in your inventory, accounts and reports.

Is the Alostaz cashier approved by ZATCA?

Yes. Alostaz is approved by the Zakat, Tax and Customs Authority for Phase 1 and Phase 2, and every POS sale issues a simplified tax invoice with the Saudi e-invoice QR code.

Does the POS work on a phone or tablet?

Yes. You can work from the browser on any device, or from the Alostaz app on Windows, Android and iPhone, and the screen is touch-friendly.

Can I sell by barcode?

Yes. Scan the item with a barcode reader or search for it by name, and it is added to the invoice right away with its price and VAT.

Which payment methods does the cashier support?

Cash, card and bank transfer. The software works out the change, and when you close the shift it shows the total for each payment method.

Can I give a discount or process a return at the cashier?

Yes. You can add a discount to the invoice and make a return for any earlier invoice from the invoices list.

Is the POS linked to inventory and accounts?

Yes. Every sale deducts the quantities from inventory and is recorded in your accounts automatically, and you see sales and profits in the reports right away.

Can I use more than one cashier or branch?

Yes. Users and branches depend on your plan: from one user and one branch on Economic to 3 users and 2 branches on Enterprise, and on Enterprise you can add more users and branches.
